Financial data (expenses, payments, currency preferences)
Group information (group names, member lists)
Receipts, images, and voice recordings you upload
Subscription and purchase history (product, status, renewal, and expiration details)
We also automatically collect usage data such as device type, app version, and interaction patterns to improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Provide and maintain the expense splitting service
Calculate balances and suggest settlements
Send notifications about group activity
Improve and personalize your experience
Respond to your support requests
Process purchases and manage Premium access
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement row-level security policies to ensure you can only access data you are authorized to view.
Financial calculations are performed locally on your device using precise decimal arithmetic to ensure accuracy.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
Supabase — authentication and data storage
Google — OAuth sign-in (optional)
Exchange rate APIs — currency conversion rates
Postmark — transactional email delivery
RevenueCat and platform payment providers (Apple, Google Play, and Stripe) — purchase processing, subscription status, and entitlements
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Data shared with service providers is limited to what is necessary for their function.
